18-year-old charged in sexual assault of minor

Authorities arrested and charged an 18-year-old man this week who is accused of sexually assaulting a juvenile.
Justin M. Urgiles, 18, of Demarest, was taken into custody on Monday. He is charged with sexual assault in the second-degree, endangering the welfare of a child and the disorderly persons offense of assault, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office said on Wednesday.
The alleged sexual assault was reported to law enforcement on September 14. An investigation by the county prosecutor’s office Special Victims Unit later identified Urgiles as the suspect in the alleged assault, which reportedly occurred in the borough of Tenafly, authorities said.
Prosecutors have not disclosed the age or gender of the alleged victim.
Urgiles will be held at Bergen County Jail pending his detention hearing.
